Programme for Sofia

Program for Sofia is the plan for the integrated development of Sofia Municipality for the period 2021-2027. The strategic document sets out the medium-term objectives and priorities for sustainable integrated development of the municipality. It was adopted by decision of the Sofia Municipal Council on 25 November 2021. The first stage of the development of the Programme includes an extensive and thorough analysis of the different aspects of Sofia's urban development. The second phase of the analysis process sets out priority impact zones and specific measures to be implemented in Sofia during the next European Union programming period from 2021 to 2027. The aim of the Sofia Programme is to select the most argumented and necessary projects for the city, which are realistic for implementation and have a clearly justified budget, implementation period and sources of funding through the EU funds and other public and private initiatives.
